The president initially promised the American public that he would fire anyone in his administration found to have publicly disclosed Plame's identity.
Yet, today at a news conference , lil bushy acknowledged publicly for the first time that people in his administration leaked a covert CIA operative's name to the news media during a time of war.

Several Bush administration officials have been found to have participated in revealing Plame's identity to America’s enemies. White House political adviser Karl Rove and Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage were found to be the primary sources for a 2003 newspaper article outing Plame. Former White House press secretary Ari Fleischer also admitted actively working to blow her cover.

Lewis Libby was the only one charged in the matter as he actively worked to impede the federal investigation of the outing of a CIA covert spy and directly lied to FBI agents and a Federal Grand Jury to ensure the 2004 reelection of bush and cheney.
Lewis Libby was convicted of four felony charges by a jury of his peers for lying and obstruction of justice in the investigation of the outing of an undercover CIA official, Valerie Plame, whose husband Joseph Wilson was a vocal anti-war critic.

Bush demonstrated that his promise made to the American public was a lie when he commutated the prison sentence of convicted felon Libby, the former chief of staff to Dick Cheney.

"There's war fatigue in America ... (my little war) this is an ugly war," lil bushy sneered. "Yet, you know, when it's all said and done (and all the bodies buried), I will be able to say I looked in the mirror and that's important to me."

District Judge Reggie B. Walton, took issue Thursday with Bush's characterization of Libby's sentence as "excessive."

"It is fair to say the Court is somewhat perplexed as to how its sentence could be accurately described as 'excessive,'" wrote Walton, a Bush appointee. He noted that the 2-1/2 year sentence was at the low end of federal sentencing guidelines.

We can't just claim "war fatigue" these days. What we as a superpower, are, is BROKE and we haven't enough soldiers to do what needs to be done and we are just spinning our wheels these days. Our government doesn't seem to hear the "Bring them on home" cries from the people. The chimp and his corrupt thugs seem to think they are nothing less than royalty and that our government somehow clearly became the chimp's and not OUR GOVERNMENT. How did that happen?
It seems that no matter where you get your news from, SOMEONE is always the scapegoat for that clown! It's time we had a new leader that wants to follow the law instead of being above it!

Look if Armatidge would have just come out and said it was him to begin with then Libby would not have been tried. End of story. Plame went to work in the same building everyday after dropping the kids off at school. Anyone who friken cared who she was could have followed her to Langley every friken day and put 2 and 2 together. Outting Plame doesn't make a difference one way or the other. Who gives a rats behind who she is or who she works for. She was not covert, she was a friken house wife who took a desk job for the CIA. Quit giving her more credit than she deserves. The best CIA agents don't get outted, they are too good. She was weak anyways. A good spy doesn't get caught.

Even Bush himself doesn't believe what he's saying about the war in Iraq. By now everybody is aware of the fact that the primary interest of the government's top guns is the domination of the petroleum economy. Safety of the American people and democracy aren't even at stake here. And the Libby affair is something I'm not wasting my time writing about. Shame on you, GW.

OK, I will bite. Are you or are you not an American? Sounds to me as though you are a Muslim, sent to sow discord amongst the peoples. Or, perhaps, a traitor.
Your question has almost nothing to do with all that you wrote in your tirade.
There are so many subjects covered; you should ask ONE question at a time.
As to intelligence, in almost every single instance in the entire history of the human race, those who "blow the cover" are always persons of power, position and wealth, not the working people.
So, using your words, who did Clinton pay to win the Presidency?

You don't understand the terminology very well do you. If you don't know that war/battle fatigue is on the part of the soldiers and not the general populace then you have no room to say anything about lies. You're a gullible liberal that's all.

Dear Kettle,
How are you? I am fine. I just thought I'd let you know you are black. Thanks!

I've rarely seen so many lies crammed into a plea for honesty outside of DailyKos or Americablog. Kudos.
