I know (correct me if I'm wrong) that turning on your air conditioner in your car make you consume more fuel.

But I wanna know what happen when I change the levels of my A/C, also what about of those cars that can controls the temperature?

Please could you explain your answer the most technical way possible.

The main draw on the engine is the compressor. Whenever the compressor is running you are consuming more gas. The speed of the blower will matter only a very little, since their is not that much difference in current draw compared to everything else that the alternator is supplying.

Cars that control the temperature will continue to run the compressor and blend some hot air into the mix to reach the temperature that it is set at.

It's been proven that running the a/c does not increase fuel consumption to a noticeable rate. I'll find the source for you.
