1979 280zx

my dad said it's supposed to have some kind of freakishly good speakers in it that are new...because he didn't know how to cover up this hole thing...so he built more speakers lol.

this was the first new car he bought. i feel bad because although i like it, it's just not a girl car to me lol. he didn't give it to my sister, but he's giving it to me...she wanted it, and i never really did lol....does anyone else see it as slightly cool? just wondering, i'm not trying to be a spoiled brat!

i think this car to him signifys something special like, he trusts me a lot or something....

You know, the 280ZX was the fastest production car made in those years,(79-83) as long as it is not a 2+2, you are being given a wonderful gift.
As far as cool, well, that is an opinion, but the car itself, if in great shape, is sleek, sexy, and damn fun to drive. I had an Arizona trooper clock me at 147mph in an 82ZX, and he was so impressed with my restoration, that I didn't even get a ticket. True story. Happened about 4am in the middle of nowhere in 2001. He said he was afraid I'd hit a deer, and I'd have to go to jail for going that fast. I told him you could see for miles, and sometimes you gotta let the Big Dog Eat. He laughed, complimented me on the car again, and told me to keep it under 80mph.

Most any car that was popular/cool in it's heyday would likely be considered cool by at least the next 2-3 generations, so yes a 280z is a cool car. Think about the oldest car you personally think is cool and figure out how many generations of drivers back that was, use that as a good rule of thumb.

Whether or not you like the car is another story though, your opinion of the car will obviously carry more weight. The car probably is special to him, so look at his offer to let you have it as something special.

The "much less high priced" element could no longer be truly undemanding to handle. the people that i knew that have restored vehicles had spent a respectable volume of money. Doing it on your guy or woman of course is extra fee-effective, however. So staying remote from a mechanic as much as a threat is going to help. those you listed are great vehicles to repair (individually i could upload a Charger to that checklist). you're able to desire to locate the motor vehicle you will fix. till there are muscle vehicles sitting around your city then you truly could would desire to flow in another country extra. I recommend eBay as a start up, a minimum of to get a experience for what you prefer to repair. I even have considered previous Charger's and Mustang's on there that variety from thoroughly gutted, the physique and that's it, to ones that have an engine and are in working order, and basically desire a great variety of physique artwork and new areas right here and there. I observed a forgotten 'sixty 9 Charger on there that still had the unique Hemi engine in it. They have been charging 2 or 3 thousand, yet nonetheless a reliable value. finding the internet and sticking to a definite standards will help additionally.
