im most alone if im in the prescence of strangers or people who i feel uncomfortable around.

Well that all depends. Are you the kind of person who can't stand to be alone? Or would you rather be alone than surround yourself w/people? It depends on the company. Some people are shallow and dumb or just mean in which case I would MUCH rather just be walkin or chillin by the river reading a book all by my lonesome, but my friends are awsome people so I very much enjoy my time with them and rarely feel "alone" when they are w/ me. Same goes for my family, aside from the few members that every family has, they are great people!! Rednecks unite!! Haha!!

Great Question.
To be honest when I'm in a large crowd I feel really alone, I fall back into the noise of what's going on, instead of being that guy that has to impress everybody I feel more connected on a one-on-one level. In a big group everything turns into a competition, you have to be louder then the next guy, you have to be funnier, more charming, and more interesting then the next guy, or else you will fall back. I don't want to compete to talk to people, why should I. Its not like a hate being social, drink a little and I don't mind talking to everybody, it just doesn't feel like I should have to compete thats all.

You 'stated your question' incorrectly ... you should have asked 'When are you more lonely? When you are in the presence of others, or when you are alone?' There is only one 'proper' answer to the actual question you asked ... of course I am 'more alone' when left by myself. I am more 'lonely' however, when I'm in public and my husband is not with me. He may not 'actually be here' during most weekdays, but I am never 'lonely' because this is 'our place' and it is 'filled with love' so I 'feel him' even when he's not here.

I feel alone if im all alone by myself n no one aound coz i have the habit of being with my love ones so if they r not present n im all alone n fel very loniles n often cry on my loneliness.But true fact is tht u will be alone in ur grave after u die,imagine tht situation!

depends who those "others" are. I often felt alone in the crowd, for instance when I was in college, I could hardly speak to the people around me, they didn't understand me. also, sometimes I feel like that around my family members as well. but when I'm with the person I love, I feel that my life and even the air around me is filled with emotions and meaningful experiences.

it depends, i can feel alone by myself and just want company, or i can be in a crowd of people that i dont know or a place i dont want to be with friends and still feel alone as well. so it depends on the situation
