The answer is yes anything can be done for a certain price, if you wanted you could put a jet engine in your hatch and make it fly, the only problem is cost. Plus in order to make a civic rwd you would need to find a rwd chassis made by honda or acura and have it modified and if you cant find one than you would need it custom built. That doesnt include the fact that that new huge motor would throw off your center of gravity, the list of necessary mods would put you well into atleast 45k for a car that would still be eaten by a WRX or similar car. Your best bet would be to throw in a gsr boost it and run 20 psi a setup that will probably cost you like 12 grand. I used to have this setup on my right hand drive 92 hatcha nd its quick as hell. Your year is lighter than mine and with this setup you could push 10 secs some good tuning and driving skills youll dust anything on the street, besides the supra creeping up on you anyways. Good luck bro hope it helped.

Anything is possible, but why?
Unless you are just going to use it solely for drag racing purpose and nothing else, it's OK.
But you have to trailer it every race you go because it won't be smog legal. If you decide to illegally drive it on the street, the heavy engine, plus all the weight will be in front with the civic light body, you will not have fun driving the car at all.

You could. I saw a Geo Metro hatchback with an LT5 Corvette engine in the backseat/trunk and of course converted to RWD.

Almost anything can be done if you've got the talent, time, and tools. But it'll cost you a ton to make it happen. You'd be winning shows on cubic money more than anything else...

No, it doesn't fit right in there. You will have to make modifications. You better be able to do body work, welding, and all that kind of stuff.

nope... even if you manage to get them to bolt up right, they will not function properly. Different motors have different parts for a reason.
