I think there are a lot of fans that don't give him the credit he deserves for a great career.

I hope the record is passed up this coming week. The Los Angeles Dodgers are true baseball players and will definitely challenge Barry and not walk him.
He's positively a baseball great due to his performance so far, and deserves the credit for all he's done for the "Make A Wish" Foundation.
Since Henry Aaron cannot make it due to his statement on ESPN that he wants Barry to keep all of the limelight and that he deserves the credit, that shows Henry's legendary status in baseball by recognizing Barry and others as the players that will pass the record up.
Barry still has that edge when getting interviewed, but you can't blame him for getting offended when the media still spreads lies about him. They can't get the message that steroids will allow or help you to hit massive amounts of home runs.....

Barry Bonds was a great player without steroids.
With them he was even greater. How many of those pitching to him, had some sort of artificial advantage?
Giant's fan.

I'm seriously going to lose my mind. Just read a few pages of questions on here and you will get any/every Bonds opinion you could ever want. Why do you have to add to this?

Cheating entails doing something illegal. Now although what he hypothetically did was illegal in terms of U.S. law, taking them is not illegal, only possessing them is against the law. He has not been caught in possession of steroids.
Now in baseball terms, what he hypothetically did was not against baseball rules. They did not penalize for it until recently.
Great player either way!
