i am really not sure...btu i hope so because killing people because our countries dont get a long is no way to slove problems...innocent people get killed every day because of it...an that is nto right

No. I think that there has never been total peace in the world. The world is changing so rapidly that the forces are such that I don't think that total peace will ever happen. Certainly we can have no wars if we can realize that fighting has no real benefit to either side. But as long as religion instigates trouble and fuels the combatants, there will never be a world free of open conflicts.

Until disagreements stop, there will aways be wars and killing. And since people can't always think the same exact way, we are a long way off from world peace if it is even possible to have.

As long as what St. Augustine called the "libido dominandi" (the rapacious will or desire to dominate) endures in the human condition, I would say that chances for world peace are slim to none.

No there will always be cults who believe in the non-believable who flip reality. But like Neo in the Matrix they spur the evolution of the mind forward. We don't want peace, we want understanding.

As we continue to evolve, peace will become more feasible. The current strife can be attributed to those who are against change. They struggle to keep things the same way, their way.
