Florida is less expensive. Bahamas are more fun.

Definitely Bahamas, Not only Nassau, New Providence, but Freeport, Grand Bahama and Marsh Harbour, Abaco

Nassau has a lot to do, water related activities and night life
Freeport has these same water activities, caves, and if you're not too much into the wild night life, you can have more relaxed evenings dining out or at port lucaya.
Marsh Harbour has beautiful beaches, and you can visit the keys. the night life is also more relaxed.

I would try Fort Walton Beach, Florida which has all the things you will find in the bahamas and less expensive. It has beautiful white beaches and is located near one of the largest Air Forces Bases in the U.S. Motel prices are very reasonible and it is a good place for fun and relaxing.

Both are nice, I have been to both and I enjoyed myself on both vacations, it depends on what you like to do. I just recently went to Orlando, FL with my bf and we had a good time, we went to all the parks and the hotel we stayed in was awesome. I have also been to the bahamas, Naussau I enjoyed the beaches there as well as the food, it feels like a more tropical- Carribean vacation.

I highly recommend cruising to the bahamas over Miami. 1. no passport is required 2. it is much cheaper. food and lodging are all included in the trip. the only thing you will need to pay for is your flight to miami or what ever port you cruise from. you can get a cabin, a nice one fore 325.00 a person. Don't settle for the 299.00 cabins they are like bunkbeds. Plus Miami is so expensive to dine in.

Atlantis, in case you are able to arise with the money for it, is ideal notch. The water park by myself can shop you busy for countless days. something of the motel will amaze you. Nassau is an prolonged walk or short taxi experience from the main significant gate. the city is risk-free, yet it is over run with vacationer while a cruise deliver is in port. flow to the internet internet site for extra concepts. some people stay in inns or inns basically exterior the gate & get day passes for Atlantis. a reliable theory for a extensive family individuals. the placement can get high priced. seek for a equipment that is composed of airfare.
