I'm looking for a great comedy book for my book club. I am leading my group next month, and I need to propose a good book. At the end of the year, the winner get's a prize for the best read book. One that my friends say "Wow great choice...I loved it...absolutely loved it".

Can you help?

These are in the young adult section of the library, but still the funniest things I've ever read, and I mean I have embarrassed myself by reading them in public and laughing so hard that I was snorting and tears were running down my face! And I'm 49 years old. But they're so easy you might want to read two together:

The first in the series is Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison. The main character is Georgia Nicolson, a 14-year-old British girl at private school. Read excerpts and other funny stuff at the website:

Book two is On the Bright Side, I'm Now the Girlfriend of a Sex God! I think each one is funnier than the last, but you will want to read them in order to understand what's going on.
