I am a muslim and no, Islam does not promote world domination. The Quran says there must be no compulsion in religion. God does not love the starter of wars. However if our land is being attacked then we must fight back. There's no such thing as STARTING a holy way. The word jihad itself means struggle. There are 2 types of jihad, struggles agains your own self desires and struggle against oppression, and the struggle against oppression is considered the lower form of jihad.
