The Intel Core2Duo is the best. Pentium is OK, It is also one of the best processors of intel.

You might want to check into AMD based Dual Cores, much cheaper and energy efficent.

But if not, I would go with a Petium D or the 2nd choice.

core 2 duo = the secksi

celerons suck, stay away from them

even the oldest one can do all that you need dsl or cablemodem
