I believe he's still hiding. Remember about a year after 911 happened how the government caught him? If he would have died any time, it would have been then.... not by a "illness" that no one even knew he had. Usually when any terrorist or even killer for that matter, has an illness, the press shares it as soon as they find out. This was not the case with Osama.
I believe this "informant" may be someone trying to steer everyone into believing he is dead so that America can feel that there is no threat and not be expecting any attacks on the U.S.
Plus, if he did die, there would be proof of his death through pictures or video all over the Internet just like Saddam had.

According to Walid Phares, one of the world authorities on Jihadism , Osama is on the Pakistani side of the border holed up, in poor health, but waiting for some significant event before he will emerge.
He says the idea among wahabiists and salafiists is forming a caliphate ( a union of radical Islam basically ) and he is waiting for that to develop.

He further said but we can't pick him up for political reasons ie: protecting Musharaff's political position in his own country, or maybe for fear of angering Iran were he may also be..

Weird enough I saw him yesterday in the backyard Taking a poop... oh wait, that was some homeless guy who had a beard and was using my sprinkler for a shower. He may either be dead and buried or very sick. Usually he likes to make occasional appearances and hasn't for some time. Personally I hope he is still alive so we can kill him (and confirm it with pictures of his body all over the news and internet). Of course that would require actually trying to. Something I fear won't be attempted until the democrats take over the white house again.

He is alive, and wishing he could return to a normal life. He has looked at 9/11 and thought, "Man, that was so not worth it. I could be living it up right now with all my riches. Instead, I'm cooped up in a cave, fearing for my life..."
