Would love to see her do one of two things.......................
Either switch over to NASCAR or pose for PLAYBOY!!!
I'll take either choice.

To philliez01. Answer to (b) : Vitor Meira and Kosuke Matsura (not sure if I spelled his name right). As for all who either love or hate Danica. Shut the hell up. The IRL will keep her long term. Just look at at the fact that Sarah Fisher is still racing. Deal with it, and quit bitching about it. There are only three teams that are winning in the IRL right now. Andretti Green has four drivers, and only two have won races this year. Lets get to the end of the year before passing judgement !! I don't hear anyone complaining about the way Helio is driving right now !! Or about the fact that Panther Racing can't seem to find a win, after winning three championships a few years ago !!!

human beings cared approximately it before and human beings will watch after she is long gone. I watch IRL through fact i'm a race fan. i'm not a great Danica fan yet i'm involved to work out a girl make it in a male ruled game. do not overlook Andretti and Foyt have been enjoyed ones names before she got here alongside. Danica is completely a race vehicle motive force. Smokin warm effective yet no diverse than the beautiful boys of NASCAR.

You know what's funny about that above answer, it's like saying that Queen Danica is the only woman in IRL. Heck, in fact Sarah Fisher has actually finished 2nd in race!
Danica's best effort? 3rd place when 4 contenders wrecked (Castroneves, Dixon and Wheldon in one incident and Shecketer in another).
"A Man's Sport"? Why because Dan Wheldon said that she hasn't been able to win yet? Okay, that makes a great deal of sense. Sam Hornish's father pushed Tony Kanaan because the IRL is "AN AMERICAN SPORT!" Makes the same amount of sense to me.
No, I don't like Danica because of
a)-the media frenzy (I admit there is ABSOLUTELY nothing she can do)
b)-her last win? In Go-Karts. Tell me any male driver who hasn't won in that time span who is still in the IRL? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
c)-her attitude. I have been to a few IRL races (most notably Iowa---great facility by the way) and she was pretty much the most obnoxious person. She rolled her eyes everytime someone asked her for an autograph and virtually shunned every driver around. I think it was Fisher (I THINK) that said "Hey Danica" and she looked and kept walking with those obnoxious sunglasses. She thinks she's a Queen and no one else is able to be around her.
---------------------------
I can't wait till Danica leaves but like AJ Foyt's son, Tony George will find a way to keep her in their if she can't last with AGR. She will need to finish in the top-5 in championship standings for a few years; not just WIN a race which takes more luck than skill at times.
Also, yes, she's in the top-10 yearly but let's take a look at something.
Her first year (2005) was with Rahal. The year BEFORE that Buddy Rice almost won the championship. SHE got his equipment (all the advanced technology) and finished 9th which was OK for a rookie.
2006-Rice is relegated to less equipment and Danica does the same results. Hmmmm.......
2007-AGR is the top team in the IRL (see Kanaan / Franchitti-check the IRL Standings to see where they are) and Marco Andretti (won a race last year) who is having mechanical issues. Once he starts finishing races, he'll catch up to Danica in no time.
At one point I liked her, I admit, but she's just an average talent COMPARED TO OTHERS.
VITOR Meira has finished 2nd numerous times and has actually dominated races before, also he is with Panther Racing which is CRAP compared to AGR. Kosuke Motsuura is in crap equipment I believe as well. Once Hornish bolted Panther, they lost sponsorship money and technology.

She will not leave as long as she has a sponsor...the same in all types of racing. As far as her performance....Well at least she is a professional race car driver, that in itself is an achievement for anybody.
As far as she rates against other IRL drivers, I would say she is boardline tier 1 driver. There are certainly other drivers who out perform her. If she was to move any other top level racing series, she would be viewed as a token women or a sponsor's 'pet'.
The other drivers who jumped to other series have done at least one of the following: win the Indy 500 or the IRL Championship...If she was really looking to move to another series, she need to accomplish one these feats first.

She'll leave when SHE's good and ready. She can run circles around you (or any of us, for that matter) and mow you down in the streets if she is so inclined.
Danica is constantly in the top 10, and THAT irks the H*ll out of those insecure little egos. Maybe that's your problem with her?
(Here I go loosing points for having the worst answer, as there are so-o-o-o many insecure egos out there who "HATE DANICA" because she won't worship them, that they all take to running her (and her supporters) into the ground. Have at it -- C'est la vie...)
Unless she starts acting like those insecure idiots, I'll keep supporting her racing efforts (AND her sometimes inappropriate, overzealous responses to those who endlessly taunt her simply because she is a woman in what THEY deem a "man's sport".)
It would be nice to see that "NASCAR" attitude go back to its own turf and bring back a "modicum of decorum" to the IRL. I am sick to death of rednecks...

I think some people are just jealous they couldn't handle a street ride at 75 on a curve and a woman (small) can drive an Indy car. She's here to stay, deal with it. There are a lot of sorry drivers out there who haven't wom anything in along time, they aren't rookies, they have no excuse and they're still on the track getting paid.

If she can't run up fron consistently and win races. She might have two years left at Andretti Green, after which she'll get bumped down to a lower team where she'll run mid pack for a while before she finally gets put on the sidelines. So my guess is at least 4 or 5 years.

She still has a lot to prove and accomplish in the irl.
i mean sure she gets a great deal of camera time but she still hasnt earned the respect of being a successful indycar driver.
until she starts winning.... danicamania isnt going anywhere.

Sorry man the IRL needs her too badly! For the IRL she means ratings and ratings mean MONEY!
Plus Nascar is much tougher and she would be humiliated!
IN IRL you can almost not crash and get top-10's and get praised!
