I think of the cats, and there is a reason behind it too.
You see, when at home for the weekends, my mother often tries to teach me how to cook (she thinks I'm too much of an outside animal, and I need to learn how to take care of myself). I've been working making fudge brownies. With most batches, my mother tells me that they are just too good for people to eat, and throws them away.
Well, last time I made brownies, I stole the last 5 brownies off the pan before my mom threw them out. I buried them in the old, derelict sandbox outside so I could eat them later.
Then, I'm outside watering the lawn, and suddenly... I see these cats digging in my sand box, and I realize they must be going after my brownies!
It ended up that water was the best way to chase them away from my hidden brownies. Seriously... why else would a cat dig a hole other than to steal brownies? (these are outside cats... not house kitties).
