^Your inner voice has whatever accent you have so you won't hear it as an accent.
As far as deaf people, I believe they do, recently I read an article about deaf people and schizophrenia. In the article it stated even people deaf from birth heard voices, maybe not the in the same words a hearing person would but definitely voices. So, I guess hearing impaired people would hear their inner voice as well. I wish I could remember what site I read this on, it was quite interesting.

Haha, I've thought of this too. I find that my inner voice just like my actual voice. My thoughts sound just like I would speak them. So that being said, I'm sure that if someone has an accent, then it shows up in their inner voice as well. Deaf people, they have voices, they just have trouble forming the words and sounds properly because they aren't used to hearing them. I'm sure that their inner voice is just like the one they would have if they could speak properly.

Well, NO ONE has an accent, do they?
I mean, to ME, I just talk normal; people who talk differently have accents.
If you follow.
I would imagine our inner voice would speak how we speak.
People deaf from birth would NOT have an inner voice; that is, their thoughts wouldn't manifest as imagined sound (I'm guessing here).
If they're visually oriented, they might imagine signing with their inner eye.
But even hearing folk think without hearing the voice. That's most likely what deaf folks would do.
People who LOST their hearing probably would have an inner voice.

I think our normal voice is our inner voice. So if you English , then you inner voice is English. I just think that since we don't realize that we have accents that it is hard to tell if our inner voice has one. And i think deaf people probably have an inner voice that is normal to them , since they have never heard anyone speak . And if the person hasn't been deaf all their life then I bet their inner voice is normal too .

Unless you are schizophrenic, the voice represents what you subconsciously think you sound like, so if you think you have a strong accent it probably will, but to most people the voice is not actually a voice as it contains no sound.

I find that my inner voice is fairly reflective of my "actual" voice-- so if it does have an accent, I don't notice any more than I notice my own (American Midwestern) accent. :) I think that's probably true for most people-- our inner voices reflect the kinds of voices we hear every day, such as our own and those of the people around us.

The little voice is whatever you want to hear, so it probably sounds like yours. If you're from the "South" then I'm sure it has a drawl.
It would be cool if it sounded like Eric Cartman, it would certainly get, and keep your attention.
You will respect [your own] author-a-tah.

Indeed. Since it is *your* inner voice, it has *your* accent. I hear mine all of the time, and it is most definitely my accent and my speech patterns and my personality.
