The Yankees can certainly afford to keep him. But if a Chase Utley or Chone figgins breaks free and hits the free agent market...well, we all know what the Yankees are known for.

Well its definitley a possibility....he has to make sure that he is consistant and puts up great numbers and contributes to the team as much as he can. He has to pull through for us in the clutch when we need him....and make sure that he always trys his best which i know he does. I think that he will end up with the Yankees his entire career but thats something that we'll have to wait and see. GO ROBBY!! GO YANKEES!! =P

In this era of Free Agency is hard to imagine any baseball player retiring from the team they came up with. No to your question.

i started out really good....alsmot won rookie of the year...if he waits...and when big names have retired he can be really at the top like derek jeter
