todays gangs are just a natural and predictable consequent of the drug war and it is proving most useful to breed fear and mistrust and racism among us all and that is exactly the point
religious people are soo stupid as to be used for things like prohibition that are actually designed to destroy their own rights!

I spent a year in South America, working. This was in 1985. There was a revolution in Peru and martial law was inforced. During the day all was normal. By 9:00pm every night, we were shot at by the millitary for even sticking our noses out a window.
I consider the GANG B.S. in our country no less a revolution. Our SO CALLED leaders should grow a set and do THIS:
Give the little gangsters a list. This list is simple, no more than 10 items scratched on it. They descbribe GANG like activity and appearances.
Now, all *** hole gangsters have ONE month to STOP doing everything on this list. Tat's will be marked for removal at the many tatoo removal stands set up everywhere.
30 days later, the millitary take over, every night at 9:pm. Anyone remotely appearing, acting or being involved in gang like activity is SHOT ON SITE!
It would take a week to see a bunch of POLIGHT stand up straight kind of folks start showing up out of nowhere!
I was RANDOMLY selected for execution by one of these savages one day. It snuck up behind me and tried to knock my head off with a huge steel pipe. I was left for dead, waking up with a broken jaw, broken teeth, skull and brain damages and a never ending fear of EVERYTHING outside my movie studio...turning me into a shut in. I never KNEW this creature, he didn't know me.
In the past I traveled the whole world, jumping motorcycles and risking my life for a living. NOTHING can prepare you for the damage those MONSTERS dish out on a daily basis!
GET RID OF GANGSTERS .... take your world back!

I am reading above and below about the military requiring "Authority" and I would submit ignorance is pleantiful .
Kent State was an event; a collision of frieght trains, so to speak.
I would consider Marshal law a knee jerk reaction for policitcal reasons as there are reasons for marshal law now in many major cities and nothing is happening.
Consider the gang issue and how many Thousands are killed each year; yet, as it is not an "event", the Government turns a blind eye and allows gangs the umbrella protection under the constituional clauses;
More have been killed by the Crips, Bloods, Mexican Mafia and Nuestra Familia, than AL-Queda. So, if dead is dead, then it must be politics?
Why is it so easy to draft the "Pariot act" after 3000 were killed in the Twin Towers as opposed to CONSISTENT DOMESTIC GANG ATTACKS KILLING MORE?
An Enemy within is far more Dangerdous than an enemy outside our boarders.

Hurricane Katrina-
cops going house-to-house confiscating weapons from home owners, without regard of the law.
FEMA may well be the precursor to martial law declaration...

The real purpose of FEMA is to prepare for martial law, not to help in natural disasters. That is why they are so bad at the latter. Read up on FEMA.

all it would take is a major "terror" event ... the military already is involved in civilian enforcement too much imo ..even trains in some places in civilian neiborhoods ... confiscates weapons from american citizens such as after katrina ..

The military does not have the authority to fire on US citizens. It would have to be declared a rebellion
