masturbation is a totally normal activity for a young man to participate in. There are NO ill effects from doing this, your friends are all wrong. I have no idea why your teacher would tell you to avoid it, probably has issues of his own, but there is no harm in masturbation.

there are so many reasons people dream up to stop boys from masturbating. Everything from hairy palms to blindness and from unhealthy for the body to making you go crazy. Fact is those are a whole lot of baloney. Masturbation is in fact perfectly normal and quite healthy.
Masturbation:
lowers the risk of wet dreams
reduces the risk of prostate cancer
keeps you in touch with your own sexual responses
relieves sexual tensions
won't get anyone pregnant (unless you are masturbating in the wrong place - hehe)
won't give you STD's

plus it just plain feels good.

So, ignore the crap and take matters into your own hands daily and enjoy...

thats a load of crap, why do people make these things up. Ur friends are full of it, I am 26 and have done it since I was like 12, my sex drive is great, feels great, and I dont have bumps. Are these religious folks ur hanging around, cuz u cant listen to a word they say, they do it too. From me to you, just do what you want and what feels good (within reason) and life will be fine. Nothing bad will happen to you from doing it, I promise.

There is nothing to be worry about , there is no problem , it's a normal activity of adolescent age group ( also less or more advanced ages! ) .
It's better to changing this activity with having a single healthy girl friend , but if there isn't , there is no problem . We categorize this activity to SAFE Sex , because of no fear of HIV , HBV , HCV , STD , Insults and . . . regarding to the Merck Manuel text book it's prevalence is 97% , and about 78% between male and female respectively .

Yes, the nurse is correct. Your friends are completely wrong. They got bad information from someone else. See how this happens? It just takes one person to tell someone something that is SO WRONG, then they pass it on and on.
It is against the law for your computer teacher to even be talking to you about masturbating. And he knows that. You should report him to your parents.

Guys AND girls all masturbate. It's completely normal and healthy. I work in the health field, too.

Yes I agree with the Nurse....oooh nurse mmm... I would say there was something with you at that age if you didn't spank the old monkey. A computer teacher told you to avoid it? What kind of qualifications does that person have?

masturbation is probably the safest sex you can have. it does not harm you and in fact is a very good stress reliever.so if you get turned on and you need to relieve yourself ...have at it
you will not grow any strange things on your penis.
