In ancient times when they conquered you, they usually made slaves of those people. Slavery has been around since the beginning of time. It was a terrible thing that happened. Thank god it has been outlawed! No one deserves that kind of treatment! If my ancestors were treated like that I would be mad to! You have to remember there has been allot of different people made slaves. Thank god that doesn't happen anymore. All I can say that was a terrible thing that went on! Do not blame them, , were all equal in gods eyes. Why cannot some people figure it out were all equal, how hard is that for some men to understand!

I think the reason that slavery get bought into rap music or music in general is beacuse that was the only outlet that our people had. While my people were working hard to make sure that white people lived "comfortably" they sometimes sang gospel music or made up other songs. As music and black culture progressed the music kept that pain and suffering, It doesnt matter that there was another race that was also inslaved, we were the only race that was blantantly inslaved in the country that we live in now. Music artist just reflect on that and put it in their music.

it doesnt matter if we were the first, second, or third people to be enslaved..the fact is that at one point we were enslaved and we still carry that in us; being passed from generation to generation.
you dont even like rap so why are you posting here?
