Yes. the reason why is the devil shows himself in the physical world. from technology which the church deems satanic to hearing little voices in your head that tell you to indulge in the pleasures of life. god connot speak with his followers yet Satan and the Demons can manifest on the physical plane. god created adam and eve and that was it. god had no intentions for them to reproduce. it was Satan who gave eve the fruit of knowledge which let Adam and Eve the ability to reproduce, so we should all thank Satan for being on the earth! He brought us life not god. god only wanted two humans and that was it.

This is just my personal opion but because I believe neither Satan nor God exists, Neither one of them is more powerful than the other!
If I did believe, I would have to say that the Devil is more powerful only because of all the bad in this world and it's only getting worse. That's what people say right? The devil makes people do bad things? Well there is a hell of alot of bad going around, not enough good!

They both have the same power because if god were more powerful, people would be all good and without any sins, but since devil and god have the power, there are good and evil people in this world

Incidentally - Elmerfud would totally kick the easter bunnies azz; he has a gun.
Ok a kinda serious answer is that The devil was an angel, therefore created by god then cast out and will be going to hell in the future. So if god created the Devil he is not greater than god.

No! Devil is equally powerful, but little less than God.
Think ! if only devil is powerful, shall we not worship devil?
All human beings worship only the most powerful.
According to me devil is just a competition to God, to keep him active.

The Devil is more powerful here on earth. This is Satan's realm. God is more powerful in heaven, in the afterlife, and after the Second Coming.

Set side by side Satan can never be more powerful than God. This is true for many reasons but the most basic is that God created him.
The scary part about this is that we, as humans, can make him more powerful than God in our lives and seem more powerful in the world. True if God wanted he could put a stop to anything, but he gave us free will. What we do with it is totally up to us. If we give our lives over to hatred, biggotry,superiority and other such crimes for any reason we invite Lucifer to be the power of our lives, thus making him more powerful in the world. Anytime we step away from compassion we step closer to the devil.
This is unfortunate indeed for many people who claim God as their savior tend to live lives of hatred and non-compassion. When ego starts becoming your reason for doing things you are stepping away from the Lord. This illustrates the trickery of the dark one.

Both of them have equal strength. When God tries to uplift human from sin to soverignity (That is why He is called "Pathith Paavan") the Devil (we can call that also "Maya") try to take us to the world of devilish traits and habits by thoughts, words and deeds.
It is we human beings give power to God or Maya. If we select to go with God, we are acting as his helping hand for establishment of heaven. If we opt to go with Maya we are acting as the helping hand of Maya (raavan) to create hell.

Nah, its just seems that way - the devil kinda shows the way to do things correctly - though they are devilish too - Go with yer beliefs and stay outa trouble and keep ya nose clean. There are methods and means to everything in life and don't let the quiet ones fool ya.
