I just deleted mine after three years. It hasn't been the same since Time Warner bought it from Tom. It's all commercialized and filled with wannabes, ads, spammers, hackers, etc.

I totally agree with what you are saying. Along with what you said about how it used to be, it also has so many new catagories.
Like for instance there are music catagories, and culture and polotics and the list will go on for a while. My space isn't a way to meet anymore, it is also a brand new treat according to many new sites. THere are more sexual predetors on myspace than on any other communative webstie. It is that popular, dangerous, and it has grown that much since it first opened its doors to the community.
TO add on to what you said about thanks for the add part. It seems to me that instead of that the person would say something like there was no tommorow. It turns out there was a recent poll on the internet on the website www.polleriausa.com which is now gone, that myspace is also the meanest place to meet people and interact with the genereal public and friends. That is because there are so many people and things on there that people don't only have one freind so they ruch to talk to more people and in that scurry they might just not say anything nice. Right now that is the leading theory.
So to answer you question, yeah, myspace has changed: A LOT and it will keep on changing for as long as the internet is up and running and as long as people are willing to be in the place.
HAVE FUN ON MYSPACE!!!!

I think people just do it for the add on. They want to see how many people they can get on there myspace page. I think the people you know will only talk to you. I had a myspace, but I kept getting people that just wanted to be add on and not really talk.

Deffinetly. Myspace has sunk to a low generic level. Everything is like the other Websites: Myyearbook, Facebook, Xanga. It'll just sink until no one uses it anymore,

totally agree. i joined about 3 years ago when nobody sent that junk mail with "get paid for taking surveys", or " get a free gift card" and blah, blah blah. also too many people posing as celebrities so they can have more fake friends. i hate those random people who add everyone they possibly can just to up their friends number. ugh!

I totally agree. I spend half my time deleting friend requests from bots telling me that I could get a free prada purse if I just become their friend.
