We need a destination in mind before we begin a journey or we will wander aimlessly, learning nothing...gaining nothing. The beauty of the journey is that while focused on that destination events will lead us elsewhere that can enlighten and enhance our life. You will look back in amazement and say, WOW, how did I get here?!

The destination needs to be worth the journey, for if the journey is to mean anything, it would suck if the destination were some outback hick town that had three people and a post office, and all three people were inbred, and if they fell out of their own family tree, there wouldn't be a single branch to break their fall on the way down...

Yeah, the destination is of the utmost importance in considering a journey...

The destination is the point of the journey without that there wouldn't be any journey. The destination should be predetermined with, of course, careful consideration before the journey.
