Have we really had a war on terror? We had the Afghanistan/Taliban thing....but I think by most accounts it has not accomplished it's goal (go ogle Al Qiada in Pakistan).

I will say the Iraq sure has cost a hell of alot, and it seems to be growing terrorist, but it really wasn't part of the war on terror. So I am not sure it counts.

Afghanistan replaced into worth each penny. no longer something has greater cost than thousands of ineffective enemies. interior the commencing up, Iraq had some worth. It incredibly had strategic cost, and the Iraqis had a shot at their very own democracy. Little did all of us know that the Iraqis could fairly kill one yet another than stay unfastened, and now we are caught there attempting to get the Iraqis to be intense-high quality to a minimum of one yet another. even however thousands of our enemies are nevertheless ineffective, we are actually not getting the return on investment that replaced into planned.

Considering they've accomplished nothing (although from what I hear they've convinced many americans otherwise), obviously not. The important thing is that bush continues to spend taxpayer money to protect his own investments.

What's funny is the war on drugs costs the US almost as much as the war on Iraq, and has been equally ineffective.

What's equally funny is that the american population not only allows it, they encourage it!

GO AMERICA GO!

Anytime an administration declares "WAR" on something abstract, or appoints a czar, the cause is lost. Can you say, War on Drugs?

How will we ever know?

There are a lot of plots that have been thwarted. We will never know how many would have been successful had we not stepped up our game.

We will also never know if we have generated more than we stopped due to increased hatred of America.
