Sounds about right. They don't care. I'm surprised they did that much.

i may be incredibly insulted. that's incredibly cheesy and that i might incredibly there be no interest extra to the reality that I were there 9 years than to get carry of a few thing like that. It in basic terms approximately comes for the time of as a slap interior the face - "we comprehend your stressful paintings and dedication to the employer and on the different hand, it incredibly is all you're properly worth" is what it says to me. A card surpassed around the place of work and individually signed by everybody may be a lot extra welcomes and favored. And, properly, if to procure me a cake to bypass with it, i may be an worker for existence. LOL!

That would be pretty pathetic.. but then for the person who sent me that email, I would send them a word document on their birthday that said I would like to congratulate you on your birthday. And that's it.. maybe a measly picture of a ribbon too.

doesn't it make you want to reply with a link to m-w.com, defining the word "thankless"... or any other appropriate word you think of? (http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/thankless)
i'm sorry that happened to you - to anyone, for that matter...
look for a better place to work, or stop killing yourself for a company that could care less. i'm not saying quit doing your job... just don't try so hard to be exceptional.
(that's what i did... then i quit.)
wow! the only way i know that you don't have my old job, is that you've been there 9 years, and i just left in December...

Well nine years isn't a big milestone. I would see how they handle you're ten year anniversary. That's more of a deal.
