I spent 20 minutes last night refuting some lefty's question about how Bush cut taxes for the rich and screwed the poor. I had real data and comparisons that showed the rich paying even more taxes than under Clinton.

Then I go to check this morning for reactions to my answer, only to find the question has been deleted. This is not the first time this has happened.

Why don't they have the guts to just leave their questions up to show how stupid they were?

I thought the questions might have been deleted by Yahoo for violations, and I know that happens all the time when no real violation really happens. But based on the prevoius answers, there didn't seem to be a lot of outrage or disagreement, so I felt that it was doubtful for being deleted due to being flagged.

There is a good chance the little socialist pulled the question because his propaganda failed.

Most of these socialist posts are nothing more than that, lies and propaganda, you spend your valuable time and energy refuting a commie and he will pull the rug out from under you and laugh. Your time would be better spent getting the truth out about who these people are, and while I am a serious capitalist I seldom engage a useful idiot on economics, first they do not know the subject matter and second I am talking to a brainwashed brick wall.

You can pretty much identify them easily, they use great words like neo-con, and always take a shot at the President in both question and answer. You see those they are not worth your effort, and what is great about this strategy, they hate to be ignored. During the old Yahoo News discussions if you hit the ignore button on a commie he spent the next shi**ing a brick to everyone else on the discussion about being ignored, the others would just tell him to shut up. I got so good one jerk was ignored by all but his own.

Because you spent the time refuting the ideas behind the question, you were very aware that they deleted the question.

There may be just as many on the right deleting questions just because they aren't getting the answers they hoped for. But you wouldn't be aware of those because those aren't the ones you spend your energy on.

Email me your data. I'm very interested liberal myths being debunked.

They don't withdraw their questions, that's just Yahoo's way of telling you their question has been reported and then deleted. I've seen it several times and sometimes I'd see that same person back on the board asking why it was deleted.

I've done the same thing as you. Frustrating isn't it. All that typing for nothing.

Because no one who answers agrees with them. How would they pick a best answer, if no one thinks the asker is right? They also remove their answer, because they're afraid of looking stupid to others, and don't want the reputation of having have been an idiot. I suppose those are very good reasons!

News flash genius, they do it to the "Lefties" too. I had my answer deleted yesterday. So its both sides of the street. They didn't like my answer so I was reported for a violation.

I'm not exactly sure how, "Big Fat Tax Write Off" is a violation of community guidelines but for some reason some "Righty" apparently thought it was.

In all likelihood, some NeoCon Neanderthal complained about the question and Yahoo deleted it. Don't blame the poster. I've never deleted a question or answer, but have had a number of them deleted because some lightweight twinkie got offended by it. Such is life here.

There could be a number of reasons as to why the question was deleted. Why didn't you simply phrase that answer in the form of question instead of waste 5 points to party bash?

LOL and the righties NEVER, EVER withdraw their questions when some lefties shows how stupid they are???

Quite simply because lefties cannot admit when they are wrong. They would rather you just agree with them than to actually have to defend a point of view, and God forbid if you actually use facts to support your statements lefties really hate this.

bbbbriggs04, we get very little oil from the mid-east and Venezuela, we get the most from Canada. The gas prices are due to supply and demand, not political interference.
