If a question is worthy of an answer, is it also worthy of a star?

Not necessarily. I only star questions either I've pondered about before or a question that does require alot of thinking There are really very few 'hmmm.... let me think' questions. For example I starred a question that stated "What gives the apples their color?" That's a question I wondered about too, but on the flip side I answered a question "Who's sexier Adriana Lima or Alessandra Ambrosio?" Not star quality.

Not necessarily. I only star it if I think someone on my contacts list would appreciate it. Sometimes what I appreciate and feel is worth a star, maybe my contacts won't. Shouldn't it be enough that the question is worthy enough to be answered at all?

I would think so. It should be a given if the question is good. I also think that if a person gives out a star, there should be some merit or credit for that. I don't get that many stars because I seldom ask questions, but that does not stop me from giving a star when I think that my contacts should read the questions.

definitely not. stars should be for interesting or fun questions. Some of the people on here ask stuff that make no sense or just ask really bad questions altogether. Those definitely should not get stars.
