well Im not a interested in conspiricies,

Im saying that while we were busy freeing the Iraqi citizenship from the tyrany and oppresion of a sovern government, the enemy was recouping in numbers, trainig in tactics, and gaining ground and support,

However,
you feel free to depict me as the nut ball al you want,

thats what PROPAGANDA is Supposed to do, make you believe in the farce of a government that is in charge

Sheep are never hard to slaughter,

They never ask where they heading when lead to the slaughter house,

The never ask why they are going to the slaughter house,

and the never ask what all that screaming is about once they get there

steven l:

well since i cant email you and tell you what I would do in this situation i will try to here in short form,

1. Confirm the accuracy of the intelegance that was being used,

2. limit the amount of force that was used to special tactical operations(delta force)

3.Effectively gain the needed support for the operations from local allies as well as surronding countries as would benifit all parties involved.

4. prior to any actions being taken negotiate an effective exit stratigy

well the list goes on but hey Im just a former airborne ranger with a certification in combat tactics and mission planning

Bush even admitted that US added to Iraq turmoil. Also, it's completely evident that the surge isn't working.

No one with even the most rudimentary intelligence believes we went to war in the right place if you are talking about terrorism. It has been proven that there were no WMD, there were no links to al Quaida, there was definately NO smoking gun of any sort.

Sadly, the illegal invasion of Iraq not only wasted out military resources on the wrong target, but also gave the terrorists a HUGE catalyst to recruit. Their extremist propoganda doesn't even need embelishing anymore... all they have to do is say "Look, they are already in Iraq... who is next?"

The criminal who sits in the White House has done nothing but waste the lives of REAL american heroes in his personal crusade to cleanse Iraq. He makes the US look like fools and bullies who not only can't do things by the book (attacking without a UN resolution), but also being completely inept at stabilizing the country.

the word propaganda implies that the information provided is created solely to create a specific impression or belief among a group of people. This isn't propaganda, its a security assesment. It doesnt mean we went to war in the wrong place, it means we chased them out of where they were and they moved. If you are sitting in a lawn chair next to your house and I stood on the roof and dropped rocks on you, eventually, you might decide its smart to move elsewhere. Same situation here. We ran them out of one location and they went and found another to inhabit. The problem is that we cant be responsible for chasing them out of every country. The countries that allow them safe haven need to be held accountable. Economic sanctions are effective against governments and can be used to help us apply leverage against the terrorists. But let me ask you a question. Since what we aer doing appears to be completely incorrect in your opinion, what would you propose as a solution to the problem? I see a lot of people complaining about what is being done, but I havent seen a single alternative solution (other than nuking the middle east) proposed. I have always felt that if you are going to complain, you also had the responsibility to propose a possible solution to the problem you are addressing. What is your solution?

Since there were no al queda in Iraq before the war and since saddam didn't have wmd's, nukes, etc. stashed in the country, and since Bush & co. lied about it all, yes we invaded the wrong place. Well, we invaded Afghanistan and that wasn't the wrong place, but we aren't fulfilling our mission their because the Taliban are making a huge come back as well. Bush really lied and fvcked things up, that is the truth of it all.

I think something stinks. I want to know how all this "credible" information is collected yet nothing is being done other than "the actions we have taken" whatever that means, to either kill, capture or disable al-Qaida. Don't tell me what a wonderful job is being done and in the next breath tell me they are now a greater threat and stronger. We're safer, but we're not safe. I am so sick of the mumbo-jumbo of this administration it makes me want to puke.

It's a careful balancing act. If we wipe out al-qaeda, then we don't have any reason to stay.

So they have to kind of (in the words of preznit dubya) 'catapult the propaganda' that Al Qaeda is coming back stronger - so we have to stay and fight them!!!

Al Queda is certainly stronger than before bush invaded Iraq.
Everybody knows that.

Where is the propaganda?

Are you suggestin that we invade Pakistan as well? The truth is that anywhere that we are not will be a good place for Al Qaeda. If we were not in Iraq they could be there in stronger force with a sponsor (Saddam).
How exactly is this propaganda? Do you know the defintion of that word?

what i take from the story is that we've failed in defeating our enemy and this new evidence should be grounds for an impeachment. but we would need to impeach anyone if we all just stood up for ourselves and marched to washington and paint that whore house black_ teela
