It really depends on what model laptop you have and whether or not you can find a Blue-Ray drive with the same dimensions as your current drive.
There is really no way to know for sure unless you can bring your old drive with you and compare. But that often requires you to disassemble your laptop to a point.
You might be able to get one of the big box retailers to try to install one in your machine, at least if it does not fit you can still return the drive and maybe even get a refund on labor.

Depends on the model. Most DVDs for laptops are unique to that make and model of laptop. Check the manufacturer's web site and see if they have a Blue Ray for your model.
Or, go with an external one that attaches by USB. Assuming you have a USB 2.0 port on your computer you should be able to use a USB Blue-Ray DVD.

They don't have a blu ray drive out for laptops yet. Pioneer has one for desktops though so it shouldn't be long before they become available. Will you be able to get one for your laptop? Probably not.
