The point of the story is to report that they are on pace for the most number of illegal immigrants to die this year while crossing. That would be considered important news. It doesn't really say that we should not enforce the law of immigration, but it does raise concerns about the current way it is done. I think you are seeing an argument where there isn't one.

basically that if you don't live in the us don't cross the border or you will die!! lol no it just is talking about how many Mexicans try to cross the border since the security's increased and how most that do not succeed die trying, that they just want to work in the U.S.and how they are increasing security even more and theyll have over 20,000 guards on the boarder by 2012
personally i think that the damn Mexicans should be smarter then that! i mean we will let Mexicans in if they take the proper immigration tests... is it really worth risking your life just to do something thats illegal to get a job in the US ? i don't think it would be
also i think that ALL Mexicans should learn English and that they should have to hire interpretors for reading, righting, hearing and speaking.... its not fair to the rest of the world that Spanish is the only language that English is translated into!!!
don't get me wrong i have nothing against Mexicans at all i just have problems with the fact that some come here and live basically a free life and they can understand everything that is going on ...
about the heroin and abortion being legal ..... bad idea!!! more of it would happen and that would not be good

The point is that we are living in a society of people who do not hold themselves accountable for anything. These people grew into adulthood and can't see the devistating effects of their own actions only the consequences and they don't want to suffer any consequences so they try to get the rest of society to support theml. Why? Because they never had held themselves accountable in the past for their actions and they want to make things even easier on themselves now. These people do not want to hear your question either. They will slam dunk you for asking it.
