Does anyone else with Netflix have problems with receiving broken/cracked DVDs on a regular basis? We have been using them for about three months and the past three DVD's we have gotten in the mail are cracked or broken. It's getting frustrating!

We have had Netflix for over 2 years and we have had only about 2 movies that were cracked...

Like someone mentioned I think it has something to do with the postal service not Netflix.... Maybe contact your local post office and see what could be done to prevent this from happening...

I've been with Netflix for over a year, now, and have only had one cracked DVD. There is a place on their website where you can log problems with the DVD's. You should be doing this each time you get one that won't play, is broken, etc. That way, they can pull it from their inventory so no one else gets it and experiences the same frustration you have. And, if you report it, they will usually ship you a replacement the same day.

I don't have Netflix but someone I work with does and he's mentioned that he's gotten broken DVDs too.

I've been using Blockbuster's online service for 6 months and I've never had a problem. I like it because you can take the DVD back to the store and rent another one for free while you wait for the next DVD to come in the mail. We average about 14 movies per month for 10 bucks.

i have only gotten three dvds from netflix that were broken and ive been with them for over a year now. i love netflix it is so much better than blockbuster. it just depends on how good your mail person is i guess, but netflix is great about replacing them at no charge and what not.

Oh, dear.

We get this from blockbuster.com sometimes, too. It's just the mail... it's not netflix's fault.
