illegal wire tapping - i doubt it.

illegal prisons - i doubt it.

but i have to say that all repub presidents prior to bush have never fought for these things - even when we were looking at a much more powerful and dangerous enemy in the soviet union.

The major factors and issues are on the table. Bush handles them in his own way, and the democrats will handle them in their own way. Democrats are not afraid of war and they are fighting now, but they are afraid of war without just cause. As we saw with President Clinton and some of his what could be called his "war campagnes" he deligated, etc. and found JUST cause to go to war. This is a big difference between Bush ideology and Democratic ideology. So to answer your question, if the democrats win 08 they will most likelly continue their rampage against Bush, but they will handle and continue all the issues in a more what could be called "proccessed" way. Their will still be Guantanamo bay (forgive the spelling) and their will most certainlly still be problems and bills being pushed for the border problem.

So by the cited evidence you show I can see that you are full of BS. We haven't even defined WIN yet in Iraq so how will we know when it happens? When Bush shays so? Is that going to compensate for all the lives lost for a war we had no business starting in the first place? No I don't think it is going to do much to help the GOP either way. Don't call Democrats cowards when you know it not to be true. Most of the chickenhawks I have heard of lately have the R beside their names. My father, both my grandfathers were liberals and not cowards. They fought in wars far worse and far bigger than this one.

Just like they did before he was president. Wire tapping has been going on since WWII as a national security program and operatives as far back as Lincoln intercepted private communications for the government- further back I am sure but for now we'll stick with Lincoln. And what the left calls torture wouldnt have even been considered hazing 15 yrs ago.

TOOLS? The only tools in the white house were put there by other tools. Think about it ,would you give a gun to the Village Idiot? I dont think the democrats would even ask for such crap to use against the American Public. Nobody denied Bush these tools , he took them and abused them. If you dont believe, just type in something bad about you know who.

Yes.
It will just be a horse of a different color.
Once they're in the White House they'll say - Oh we can't do all those wonderful things that we planned to do because now we see how things have changed or we've now found out things that we didn't know before. Its all BS. They're all reading from the same playbook but play the game out in order to keep us all fooled.

No. Only President Bush may spy on Americans, secretly imprison people and order torture.

Probably, but they won't be so completely defiant and in your face about it as Bush has been - What do you expect, the society we live in now almost dictates that we HAVE to have these powers to prosper - And we all know that the American Dream is More Money!
