I find the caps lock key's *presence* a waste of time: thus, ANY place would be the wrong place! I have NEVER used it, and cannot imagine that I will EVER use it, and in fact will be willing to bet anyone a nickel that I will never in my life use it!!! Why waste perfectly good keyboard space with a useless key??? At very least give me a software option to disable the booger!!! (End of rant...sorry)

Sticky Keys is a domicile windows function, not a fact that the keys are sticking. Mac would not have an equivalent of that. close down your pc, unplug the keyboard, plug it back in, then reboot the pc. See if that works. If not, you would be able to ought to submit this interior the pc component of Yahoo solutions to get somebody there to grant you extra effective advise.

go to control panel, click on Accessibility Options, then go down and click on Use Toggle Keys, then click on Sound, and go down and check Use Sound Sentry and then select Flash Active caption bar. This will cause a tone and your window that is active to flash, when you accidentally hit the Caps Lock key..

So whatever you replaced it with you'd say was in the wrong place if you define the right place as not under where my finger is.

Let's change the universal keyboard standard just for you anyway.

If you don't use it, then pop the key off so you won't hit it. That's what I did with my Number Lock button on the keypad.
