In Japan, normally steering wheel in the car is on the right side and driving on the left side on the road.
But sometimes can see left side steering wheel cars on the road.
Is it easy drive in Japan?
Does it confused people if drive opposite side?

At first it was very confusing. After a while you just get used to it. The roads in Japan are very narrow as well. Sometimes they have roads that could fit 2 cars but then people park on the side so only one car can fit. The speed limit is pretty slow. The car I had would constantly beep at 100kph. It confused me for a little while when I came back to the states. I was going to the drivers side when my friend was driving. I also drove on the wrong side here once. It's not really bad driving in Japan.

Sorry, I had misread your question. I have not drove left side steering wheel in Japan. I have done it in England though. Left side steering wheel on right side of the road. I drove a US. Goverment car so the steering wheel is on the left side. The roads in England are the right side like in Japan. We would sometimes switch from Left side to right side in different cars thoughout the week. It's not bad you just have to keep in mind what kind of steering wheel your using left or right.

Because Americans drive on the right side of the road, and the other countries drive on the left. Putting the steering wheel closer to the middle of the road allows you to better see everything around you while you drive.

I lived there when one of the prefectures (Okinawa) switched from driving on the right to driving on the left. Since most accidents involving unfamiliar drivers happen during turns at intersections, let me give you a bit of poetry that you can copy and tape onto your dashboard to remind you how to drive on the left:
"Left= Tight, Wide Right"
That tells you that you have to make a tight turn when turning left and a wide turn when turning right. This rule will work no matter what side of the car your steering wheel is on.

Your question is like "driving American car on the road in Japan". right?

You can. But when you stopped right behind large truck (van), as in traffic jam, you won't be able to see what is going on in the opposite lane. Because Japanese roads are narrow and the road is fenced by walls or houses like the London.

Just try. But I am sure that you will purchase right wheeled car for the 2nd.
