I had used a gateway for five years. It was really a good pc, the best i`ve ever used. now i am using an E-Box cpu, a Noc screen,Boston accoustic speakers, HP 840c printer and a Hp4300 Scanner. I have a Blueeye keyboard and a A4 Tech mouse

1 home built for net.. its old.. 850amd.. if it gets trashed, not so worried

acer amd x2 3800 for music and a acer centrino

as for buying/building , well it was cheaper for me to buy the machine made and upgrade the parts , e.g. memory..

pc market is ultra competitive these days , also the fact of vista is free with them, instead of silly money when bought seperatly.

Assembled ...I never use branded computers ..waste of good money! And I can build a better comp than those Dell guys for much less!
