Say "when I win the lottery mom, Weddings and kids are expensive!"
Or
burst into tears and sob about your feelings of inadequacy and hope that she feels soooo bad about hurting you and your feelings that she never brings it up again.
Or
Go to Vegas get drunk then marry a stranger and get pregnant on your Vegas honeymoon. Then tell your mom you did it for her.
I hope this advice helps. I know it would be hard to hear that. I am married but my husband and I are waiting a bit to have kids and I get the whole babies thing a lot. From my parents, our extended family, my crazy mother-in-law, people at my work, people at his work and even at our church. It is hard to deal with. The only thing you can do is not be one of those people in the future. I try to be positive and not let other people butt in to our business and I do not judge or guilt people into feeling bad about their life. Good Luck with your mom hon! And may all your life dreams come true!

I think if you tell her what you just told us, she'll get the picture. You have quite a chip on your shoulder against women, so even if someone nice would come along you might be too hostile to have a relationship. If that's your real attitude, you'd be doing women a favor to stay away from them because you could be an angry or abusive partner. My advice is, in the event that you EVER want to have a relationship with a woman, get some counseling before you get into the dating pool. Just as an aside, I've never seen anyone with a master's degree who uses such poor grammar.

Try nicely to explain that you are not in a rush, and you want to make sure you marry the right person. Tell her that is just like if you asked her: "Mom, when are you going to die? I want my inheritance and insurance money." Be nice about it, and I think she will get the message.

I'm sorry mom I didn't realized I was under contract to be married and have kids by a certain age. Is it too late to renegotiate the time limits?

I think I need to be married before I have children. THAT will happen when I am ready and find the right person. You do not want me to marry the wrong one do you?

Well I would have to say "Mom it's a little too late to be asking for grand kids, I'm already past menopause!"

I'll get married after you and Dad get divorced, and you get remarried again and pregnant. I want a baby brother or sister.
