Because women are the ones who do most of the housework and bear the children and raise them... Is it too much to ask the man to put the toilet seat down when he's done? AND, it does look better when it's down!

It's not just the seat to put down, it's also the cover. It's there for that reason, to cover the bowl (etiquette)

Yes it looks better...Actually everyone should put it all down including the lid. It just looks nasty when the seat is up. Theres usually pee on it and that stray pupic. ewwwwwwww

Good point! Can we not both take alittle responsibility in this issue. Although the lid typically belongs down. The only reason its raised is for us to peepee or to puke!

If the toilet seat was meant to be up why would there even be a toilet seat? It's meant to be down so it should stay down :)
