We have more programs in the past, but we're not likely to become a powerhouse anytime soon.

For much of the country - including anyone in the prairie provinces or our territories - the baseball season is extremely short. The only place where you can play baseball anywhere close to year-round might be in BC, since they have a more temperate climate. There also aren't nearly enough indoor batting cages or year-round programs to sustain growth.

Unfortunately for baseball in Canada, this is still a hockey country.

Canada has produced quite a few good players, but I think the major concern is supporting MLB teams in Canada. I'd favor the expansion of more teams if attendence numbers would allow it. I don't know how well the skydome does in comparison to other parks, but I'm glad Toronto has successfully housed a team for several years.

The Blue Jays are probably better than atleast one-third of all MLB teams.

Yeah but its too cold to play all year round outside and that is a big disadvantage to Canadians.

They are apparently bad at grammar though. Was there an actual question?
