Portland Maine. You gotta have the Lobsta, I get 'em free since my father is a Lobsterman. But we'd have them at my house cause my parents can be pretty lame. We have everything from ocean to world class ski mountains, the Appalachian Trail (White Mountain Range) and to grand lakes. And we have more coastline than the entire eastern US coast combined (from NH to FL). They don't call it "vacationland" for nothing. In Portland we also have more bars per capita (amount of people) than anywhere in the continental US, so we know how to party good too. We'll have a wicked good time!

Don't come to D.C. until the fall. The weather is too gross right now and it's entirely too touristy.
Eat at Inn At Little Washington.
Smithsonian... National Gallery (my fave), Natural History (has the best gift shop), Old Town Alexandria, shopping... this area has the best shopping
See a show at The Kennedy Center... perhaps the ballet.
Take a day trip to Baltimore and go to the National Aquarium and tease the piranha. Eat at the Inner Harbor... crabs of course.

I am in Turkey:)
In Istanbul. I don't know where to start there are too many things to see.
Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, Yildiz Palace,Dolmabahce Palace.
Outside Istanbul there are wonderful beaches. Gocek,Bodrum,Marmaris, Cesme, FEthiye, Efes........
Mountains: Nemrut, Uludag...
Every part of my country is a mixture of cultures and civilizations.
I would recommend tasting the world's one the best cuisine Turkish with all the meat, vegetables and mezes.
Alcoholic beverages like Turkish wine,Raki...
You should absolutely visit ancient areas,go to the seaside, meet with people, shop and enter in the great night life to dance till the morning :)))

I live in Tennessee but Im from Rhode Island.
In RI, you're in the Ocean State, the smallest state in the US. You can drive from end to end in an hour! There is water everywhere! You should see the big blue bug, have a hot wienie with some coffee milk or maybe some clam chowdah and visit Newport to see all the historical mansions.

I'm in Baltimore, Maryland USA
Our downtown Inner Harbor is very pretty. Both of our stadiums are there (Ravens, Orioles). Lots of shopping here and lots of bars and eateries. Definitely a place to walk around and relax. A lot of history here. The Star Spangled Banner was written here. Fort McHenry provides a lovely view of the city skyline. We are not too far from DC, our nation's capital.
You cannot leave Baltimore without enjoying a dozen or more of our Chesapeake Bay Blue Crabs!

If you come to Oregon, you should check out Crater Lake - very cool and we have some of the greatest camp sites anywhere. You could ride the jet boat down the Rogue River and see a play at the Shakespearian Theater in Ashland and have dinner at Martino's (if you like Italian) or my favorite mexican restaurant Si Casa Flores.

You would be in Mount Pleasant South Carolina, you would have to see the ocean and beautiful beaches and eat at a place called The Wreck. You would have some of the best sea food around.
