This is hypothetical & won't hapen, but does it make sense?

1) Bush & Co. launch a disinformation campaign and flood the media that we are now winning in Iraq (it's B.S. but that's Bush's stock and trade). 2) The U.S. public starts feeling more positive (suckers that we are). 3) The world starts talking about how the U.S. has finally gotten its act together in Iraq (they fall for our B.S.) 4). We secretly work out a deal with the 'official' Iraq government (it has no power, but a few million in bribes will persuade them) that they come up with a statement saying that since the U.S. is making great strides in helping Iraq, the Iraqi people are now confident they can go it alone and demand U.S. military and political presence out of Iraq immediately). 5) Bush makes the announcement that although we are now winning, unfortunately the Iraqis demand we get out. Yea, they are making a big mistake, but it's their country, and their loss. America leaves, looking like a winner.

Yo dude, sarge. I hope you were a better soldier than a speller; it's sargeant, not sargent. Of course, you must have a crystal ball too since you KNOW I didn't serve in the military. Yea right.

At stake with President Bush, as well as any other president during a war is: Did those who died in the war die unnecessarily? This problem also faced Harry S. Truman and Lydon B. Johnson.

My thoughts on war is that they are a lot easier to get into then out of. Pardon the bad English

I should add that our news media has been responsible for much of our countries problems. Always reporting that we are the most powerful country in the world. And that our president is the leader of "the most powerful country in the world." I believe that this is makes other countries despise our arrogance.

Wow. No. That doesn't work. If we leave now good ol' Bin Laden and pals take that region back over. That will translate to more attacks for us.

Yes, we didn't find weapons of mass destruction. If they would have had them I'm sure they would have already used them on us at that point anyway. The Iraqi government is not ready to go it alone. There is a lot of corruption in that region. But, there are good people fighting for the rights of their people. If we leave these good people are as good as dead.

America is not going to leave looking like a winner regardless of what happens. The country hates the president and they have no faith in the system that has worked before (ie germany). No matter what happens some people are going to whine and complain. If we stay people will complain that it's "has nothing to do with us" or "it's their country". Sure, that's true. But if we leave it will come back to bite us in the butt in the form another deadly attack. It's sad that people simply listen to their televisions and think that they actually know what's going on in the world.

Wow....I'm glad i risked my life to protect paranoid uninformed people like you. You should got to Iraq and see the faces of the Iraqi civilians and see if they didn't want us there, they are finally free....but freedom isn't free, there's always a price to pay just like the U.S. did along time ago with England, but you might not remember that because you were to busy ditching school smoking pot and coming up with more conspiracies!
