Book...it gives more details....
If you must see the movie version, though, see it before you read the book. Not only does it give a good visual, but when there's extra details in a book, you aren't disappointed like when things are left out of the movie.

I'm going to have to say book. You get more inner and deeper feelings then holly wood and plus it's a movie in your mind your movie that you act direct and record you get it from your own point of view. But when it's a movie your feelings are trapped inside of you. And if you don't like the ending you can make it you r own. Usually if a movie is based on a book then the book is the original story. Every book has it's own point of view if you find that view all books are interesting to read. It's like that author wants to say something to you through that story.

Book. It last longer, for one. And, if you've noticed, if a movie is made out of a book, the book is usually alot better and more interesting then the movie. But then again, movies can be fun if you're looking for a nice recreation.

But I prefer the book first because like in some movies they take out a lot of the most important things from the book.
