Agreed.
As long as people are allowed to own guns in this country, there is no fear of Islamic radicals taking over.
The neocons have turned into a bunch of pu$$ified chickens looking for the govt. to protect them.

Conservatives are not afraid that Al-Qaeda is going to destroy western civilization. What we are trying to do is stop Al-Qaeda from randomly attacking the USA when it feels like it. They can't destroy us and they know it but they can hurt us. 9/11 didn't destroy us but it hurt like hell. How do you think the population of the USA would respond if the government allowed a nuke to take out NYC? There is a huge difference between conquering a country and defeating a way of life.

That's their stated goal and they are willing to do whatever they can to achieve it. Destroying Western Civilization does not necessarily mean people converting to Islam. If they take out New York City, the United State's Economy would fall, thus leading to a domino affect causing economies all over the world, who the US supports, to fall as well. Add a the detrucation of a couple more important cities, say Washington, Los Angeles, Atlanta. That will create anarchy, and chaos, thus the destruction of Western Civilization.

I don't fear Al Qaeda at all. Nor "turrsts with nucular capabilityness."
I think we could only be attacked from within, as in 9/11.
Or something really covert, like letting loose a billion mosquitoes with west nile virus all over the US. I don't fear N.Korea, Iran, Iraq, Libya, anybody. I just wish we'd keep the focus here, not 8,000 miles away.
Imagine if Gore had won and 9/11 happened. The cons would never stop blaming him for not keeping our country safe!!!

Why not?
Look at the living examples on how Iraq was destroyed by the dead Mummy with Gulliver being tied to the ground by the Liliputians with the big and small ends in making a mess out there.

Slobbo received some notoriety for a movie he made way back when. He was wrong then and is wrong now. Ignore this Jabba the Blob for the vapid little cow pie he is.

Yes, it is very disturbing the amount of fearmongering that is going on in the Republican Party. Ron Paul one of the few who is not participating in this hysteria. I wish there were more like him in Congress.

Then why are liberals fighting this effort every inch of the way when we can nip this in the bud without having to subject our families to these barbarians.
