The short answer:
No
The long inswer:
No way in hell.
Employers will not respect the degree, and it may actually hurt your ability to get a job when you are done. There are some MBA programs (like Duke's Global Executive MBA program) that incorporate distance learning with in-person sessions that are respectable.
If you must do an online MBA -- make sure it isn't from one of the For Profit universities like University of Phoenix -- but rather from a university that has a respected full time program.

If the institute providing online MBA is well accredited, the online MBA program can be helpful. NIBM (National Institute of Business Management) is an Indian based online MBA provider that offers quality online MBA programs for the duration of 1 year and 2 years and that includes 1 year Executive MBA. It is accredited to both IAO and AACBE and hence is reputed too.

Look into the specific school you are thinking about. Colorado Tech Online teaches MBA classes online and they have a great program. They teach using hands-on tasks rather than all book work. Many employers like to see graduates from this school because they already have quite a bit of "experience" in what the job actually entails.

If it's absolutely impossible for you to attend a program in person, and if you can find an AACSB accredited MBA program that's offered online, then yes, it can be worth it. But I wouldn't recommend it unless you literally, absolutely can not attend a program in-person. Employers don't love the online programs in this field.
If you must go, look for a program that's at a school accredited by the AACSB. The AACSB website includes a complete list of all MBAs that they accredit (below, link).
