I heard that they're going to go up to 6. So I just thought by then people might be tired of it by then.

I'm already tired. My friends brother worked on the film set for the last movie and claims they are doing a 4th. Isn't Depp rich enough already.

I'm already sick of it... I think the third movie was actually pretty bad. The plot was really scattered and some of it didn't even make sense. They tried to fit too much in and it just got silly. Plus, I hate the Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom characters. The only good part about it was Johnny Depp. I was also really disappointed because I thought there would be more scenes with Jack Sparrow's father.

AS long as the story is good, the series can go on forever-look at Star Trek, Star Wars, James Bond, Addams family, Rocky--all great film and TV works like have grown over the years
So if Rocky can go 7 rounds (films),,Pirates can last..I just hope they keep the same actors and grow as a film series

I think as long as the story line is good and they keep adding the comedy into it they'll be fine. I'd go watch all of them, but that's probably b/c i'm a huge jhonny dept fan and i love movies with pirates in. in fact if i lived in that time of age i'd be a pirate.

I heard that Johnny Depp said that he would carry on playing Captain Jack up to 6 movies if they wanted him to, but I haven't heard that this was actually confirmed.
It depends on the storyline. If they are as complicated as the third one then yes, but if they make it more simple, easier to follow, and more of a comedy, then it should still be loved as much as it is now.
I personally will never get bored of them! But that is just me!!

Johnny Depp fan in the house, :) Orlando Blooms character is getting a bit boring, as for the story line and so on, I think it's brilliant. I wouldn't mind if they made it a TV show. all the more johnny for me to see :D
The ladies in general love Johnny Depp and I dont think they would mind, guys like the whole pirate thing. So whatever happens, most of us will still go to see the movies, even if just to confirm that it is the crap they thought it would be.
but personally, Johnny on big screen is one major turn on
