time and time again Bush and Blair reminded us how much iraqi people ( thanks to US and UK ) enjoy living in a democracry compared to the old days under Saddam , on the other hand , time and time again , China is condemned for not allowing / introducing democracy in Hong Kong , so , if democracy is as good as the West has always claimed , Iraqi people with the democratic right to choose their own leader should live happier than people in Hong Kong. Am I right or am I wrong ?

Hong Kong was built by the British.
China has different rules for the governing of Hong Kong than they do for the rest of China.
Iraq is not a true democracy.
They have democratically elected officials, but there are no TRUE democracies ANYWHERE on earth including the U.S.A. which is a Federal Republic with Democratically elected representatives.
That's REALITY!
Sorry you won't like the truth.

Hong Kong is a "special economic zone" that even Chinese citizens need a passport to visit.
China doesn't want to screw with the good thing that was handed them.
Iraq is in the throes of emergence to a bright and wonderful future...if we allow it...and not abandon it in it's dark period.

I prefer the UK we have a government voted in by 27% of it`s population and a leader that was given his job by the former leader.who needs democracy anyway it`s all a deception the people in power do what they want anyway and not what the people want, long live the revolution.

Iraq! Nothing like the smell of kebab as you stroll past the craters in the road and the sheer adventure of a bus ride! At least you don't have to buy return, get me?
