I think that he will. The Yankees have agreed to extend his contract through the 2010 season. A-Rod can either agree with the extension or opt out of the contract. I think that he will be a Yankee next year because the Yankees are the only team that will pay him the most money for him to stay on the team. I hope A-Rod stays because I love him soooo much!! GO A-ROD!! GO YANKEES!! =D

The Yankees are breaking traditionand are in discussion with Alex about renegotiating his contract. I would think the dollar amount could be close to the GNP for Russia.

if he opts out, I honestly hope NO ONE signs him.
That's greed, plain and simple.
Can he not survive with a child and ex, er, wife with only 25 mil a year?
When you compare who you can sign for that type of money, he just isn't worth it.
