What did the person say that made you do this?

Once, because i asked a serious question about the war that i fought in, and the guy said he wished that i died there with all my friends. People are entitled to their opinion, and i don't report abuse, but that was just wrong. He didn't know me, why did he want me to die? Did he not feel like i suffered enough from being the one person to survive in an attack and have nerve damage for the rest of my life? Why didn't he serve if he is so righteous?

Sorry, i was ranting, but yeah, one time.

The only qualifications to join YA are: to be alive; thirteen; near a computer; have the ability to reach the keys ~ even if you need a highchair to get there. Quid Erat Demonstratum YA. Et voila: you are an expert, authority, anything appearing in print becomes legitimate and indisputable............................... Would that YA treat their adult members in a more adult and mystical manner: That just will not happen. It would hardly ever come up if the age requirement had a higher number. Use of standard language and a real effort toward spelling would be a boon, aboon, baboon. You have to remember the general demographic of all the users of this forum. Police, while gathering evidence, often have to sort through mountains of well-intended but entirely incorrect solicited and unsolicited information. People will give information because they really think they know, when they're not sure, and when they know they don't know. Others will come onto the scene and linger for attention, company and generally of no use to anyone else at the site of the incident. I've done that which you were 'guilty' of on YA. I'm sure less, because of me lesser exposure to it. There are certainly instances that almost compel any of us to say something that is , "...loud enough to wake the baby." ( ...as so aptly put to me by a colleague.) I've answered, heading the answer with (IMHO) I knew many of the posted answers were incomplete or inaccurate, without dissing the other respondents. I was compelled to actually say "come on people, how can there be a middle pedal if that piano has only two?" re: piano conformation. And if I were a saint I might have shut my mouth and prayed for them. [ Should one use 'conformation' while nattering on about a piano, does that mean the piano is an equine? ] Best, Petr B.

It was that idiot that had the picture of the 'lips' a few minutes ago. It sickens me to think that that is considered 'OK' humor on this site since there are VERY young people on here. The person may even be young that did it, which is even more bothersome. And it disrespects humanity in a way. Other than that, since being on here for a long time (about a year) I can count on 1 hand how many times I've reported people. So it's gotta be pretty bad for me to report.

I have done it a few times. I don't mind certain things. But when people start to talk about molesting little children or cursing every other word, or just being plain stupid and cruel I will definately report them.

I remember there was a girl on here one time that kept saying that she got raped and didn't know what to do. My mom has gotten raped when she was younger so I really felt for this girl and tried to answer her question as best as I could. Come to find out that she was just joking around and had asked stupid questions like that before, so I reported her. That is when I feel that someone should be reported.

I have been reported myself before on a previous yahoo account, I don't know what I did wrong, I am honest, I don't use foul language, I just simply state my opinon on things. If the person doesn't like your opinon then they will most likely report you, but you can't be like that. That is what Y Answers is here for, someone else's opinion.

I report anyone that turns a question into an ad. When someone asks about the Ipod, they don't want a credit card deal with a free Ipod.

I also report people if they don't answer the question, but only if they're really rude or insulting about it, if they're just being funny, that's cool.

I have done that countless times 95% of the time when I do it ... it is because the language is offensive in some way ... or the question or answer is offensive to women, children, minorities or to the subject matter itself... for example after the VT school shootings there where some very offensive questions.

maybe 3 times - for spam answers,it was advertising a weight loss product or something - i kept seeing it and it annoyed me.and there was one advertising to deliver pizza.

i am not offended easily,i think everyone should have a right to say what they want - if you know a question is bad,just skip over it if you don't like it. the people who put up "horrible" questions just do it for attention,and they are right back on everyday - so it's pointless. most of it is just crude humor,and alot of it makes me laugh.

people abusing that privilege is what sucks. that's why people like me get deleted for no reason.no fun.

Almost never. I have been "reported" for a violation---I answered in English a question that looked like it was written in Indonesian. ..and so now I know not to do the same again!!!!

To many stupid question or racism. Like one time some guy posted on here (Is it OK for black people to use the Internet?) or same guy posted is it OK to beat your children and get off on it. Come on here like that is so stupid. 5 or 6 times I've reported the same person. Or you got people posting stuff in the wrong place. But I'm sure you've reported a few to.
