Darwin to Broome will take about an hour and a half. It is half the distance from Darwin to Brisbane and that flight takes three hours.

"An extremely long time because anyone referring to Australia as "OZ" will be kicked off of the flight. "

Australia has been referred to as Oz since the satirical magazine of the same name appeared in London in the 1960s. It was in Oz that Barry McKenzie made his mark. Those who decry the use of the name for this great country are ignoring history. It is perfectly acceptable to refer to Australia as Oz. In fact our greatest playwright, David Williamson, wrote a play about Sydney and called it "The Emerald City" for that very reason.
