I can't assume why the guys would answer, but I know that I try to respect the questions that are asked to the guys. I may look at the question, but don't answer...so it seems like there is an issue w/ respect for the asker.

or maybe purrhaps..
1) reverse phsycology, by telling them first that they can't see something, they are more inclined to want to see it.
2) after seeing your question ( which you've enticed them into whether or not you meant to), it might be that the group you'e excluded have a legitimate angle to add to your question.
how i can tell this? i saw the "women only" and was drawn into it, and after analysing your question, i can say that as part of the "excluded group", i have a angle on the topic at hand that you may not have thought about, and still be interested in.
funny how that works, and no, i'm purrfectly happy being a male thanks, and i'm not nosy/noisy either, i just like to help out.

It's vanity....
If men see a question labelled 'for women only' they automatically assume we're going to be talking about *them*....;)

sometimes they feel they have some special insight. when you limit your possible answers you limit the chances of finding the correct answer.
