To those that asked,
in europe, with a few exceptions, journalists show both sides of the issue, without expressing their own opinion on it, and "facts" are told with something backing them up.

There are however some exceptions , for example, british tabloids like The Sun, but im tlaking here about news channels.

Most are biased either to the left (CNN, NPR) or the right (FOX).

Fox New leans towards the right, but shows both side of an issue, unlike: CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, and ABC.
In Newspapers, the Liberal Left has the NY Times, The Washington Post, and Gannet News Papers, to mention a very small number of such Liberal New Papers who print only one side of an Item, and deliberately high the other side of the News Item. Talk about Biased News Reporting!!
WHERE IS THE BALANCE HERE???

Most reporting Stateside is bias, I'm sorry to say. A once respected news magazine ran a story that was damaging to Bush in the last election with forged documents. Fox leans toward the Republicans, and that includes their loyal members of the Religious Right

Most Americans agree that ALL news is biased. The networks and CNN are somewhat liberal and FOX is somewhat conservative. There is no longer ANY media outlet that is unbiased in my opinion. The only way to get real news is to read or watch both sides (ie: CNN and FOX or The Washington Post and The Washington Times) and read between the spin.

Fox is pro-right. CNN, ABC, CBS, and MSNBC are pro-left.

Your point is?

Every news agency is biased. Fox just happens to be the only pro-Republican agency while the pro-Democrat agencies are in abundance.

Yes. Fox is biased. But so is CNN, and ABC, and CBS, and MSNBC.

Yes they do lean right, but CBS for one leans left. Whats the big deal ? The fact of the matter is that the political elitist in DC are the problem, & not just one person, nor is it one tv station. Its the WHOLE freakin bunch up there, robbers without guns is what they are.

Every news source has its biases, on what they report and how. The level and "direction" of bias varies, but no source is 100% objective.

Pay attention to multiple sources, examine the news critically and decide for yourself. That's the best course of action.

Good luck.

They all are, but not even close to the level that BBC is (which is somewhere close to WAFA).

Your additional comments made me laugh. Is this a 'my country's news stations are better than yours' post? Try to not to obsess about Americans for one week. It'll do you good.

any Democrat would be the first to agree with you.

many Republicans would admit that as well.. they just still feel it is the least biased.. whereas Democrats would call it the most biased.

Hmmm, let's see... even if that were true, would they still not pale in comparison to that of the biases of CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC and so on and so on............What's that ? - At least 5 to 1 ???? SO, in short - QUIT YOUR WHINING !!!!!
