I would not say "George W Bush the greatest foreign policy President ever?" but Saddam Hussein had to be removed - Especially as the world enters the age of electricity driven vehicles/boats/aircraft & the nuclear power stations needed. Hopefully the world will be a more stable place once reforms have swept through the Islamic world. Most people just want to get on with their lives regardless of what religion they belong to - It's the extremists & dictators that ruin it for everyone. Also, the internet seems to be leading to people power without leaders - A sign of the future?

Um, no. His foreign policy generally consists of "do what we want or we'll kick your a**". This is not diplomacy. There is a reason he's met with protests in every other country he visits (one group in south America even performed an exorcism on the ground he stood on--no joke!).

In the past 100 years there have been many (most, actually) Presidents whose policies were better than Bush's--but I suspect you know that and were just trying to get a rise out of us.

You never know. Only time can tell. I'm sure there were people during Lincoln's time who thought he was absolutely mad, but of course we know he wasn't. This war as complex as it is and bitter in terms of lost lives of U.S. soldiers may prove in the end to be a just war. Of course by human standards, 'just' is relative. But with all we know about Hussein and all the atrocities he had committed, even if the reason we went in is different from the reason we are still there, we are still there. We should continue to pray for this country and for the U.S. soldiers overseas.

That will all depend on if it works. The answers so far amaze me. You people fail to understand that this is a long term policy that will not show results until decades from now. Saying it is bad now shows you are nothing more than short sighted and ignorant as to matters of the world.

In a parallel universe, maybe. But not in this one. In this one, his foreign and domestic policies are a disaster.
